DUO DAYS, is a performance art event, involving artist couples (artists in a relationship, collaborating in performance) investigates the theme of duality through performances. Through these collaborative performances we observe how couples who share intimate relationships and domestic lives communicate through performance art, their working relationship, utilising this closeness and intuitiveness which their relationship affords, providing opportunities to further test the nature of relationships; from domestic life to social ethics, from mind and body to art and audience.
DUO DAYS consist of the following activities, from Mon 29th April to Sun 5th May:
Workshops delivered by Monika Günther and Ruedi Schill, from Mon 29th to Wed 1st May, 11am to 3pm, Catalyst Arts
Workshop Presentations, Wed 1st May from 6pm onwards, Catalyst Arts.
Duo Performances, Thur 2nd May to 4th May, 7pm onwards, Catalyst Arts.
Roundtable, chaired by Professor Mia Lerm Hayes, Sat 4th, 2pm, Catalyst Arts.
Performance Monthly Meeting, with invited artists and Bbeyond members, Botanic Park, Sun 2pm onwards.
