In her second solo exhibition, consisting primarily of wall-mounted paintings, the multidisciplinary visual artist Eleni Kolliopoulou explores two concepts already signaled in the title: fermentation and time, as well as their interweaving (Fermenting Time). In terms of style, abstraction predominates, accompanied by an indistinct yet discernible evocation of biomorphic motifs. These motifs flow freely through a sequence of associations, finding balance within compositions that maintain a subtle and mutually permeable equilibrium between the intuitive and the calculated.

How can pole dancing express identity, challenge norms and rethink what performance art can be? This exhibition explores pole dancing as an art form through sculpture, images, light and sound. Since its emergence as a fitness trend during the Celtic Tiger era, pole dancing has evolved into a way for people to express themselves and discover new ways of being. Here it is not presented as spectacle or entertainment, but as a practice of creativity, self-expression and discovery. SEX! DEVIANCE! DANGER! is Arlene Caffrey’s first solo exhibition. It draws on twenty years of experience with pole dancing, alongside conversations with pole dancers from across Ireland.

Performance Monthly Meets exist as a free open performance space for unconventional dialog through action. They are a living concept of encounter which exists through practice and belongs not only to those who join in but also to those who witness same. Performance Monthly Meets have become the spirit of Bbeyond contributing to the development of praxis and idea/s through actualities, resulting in growth at both the individual and collective level.
