I am delighted to have been selected to perform, alongside my beautiful colleagues Aya Toraiwa, Miki Shoji, Emma Lusena Ash, Yiannis Pappas, Roksolana Nakvatska, Rachel Bo Clark and Phoenix Chase-Meares, Marina Abramović’s performance NUDE WITH SKELETON as part of the exhibition BALKAN EROTIC EPIK at the GROPIUSBAU.
The performance will take place throughout the duration of the exhibition, from the opening on 14. April until 23. August.
Abramović says of this performance:
„The work is really about facing your own mortality. Is about fear of pain and fear of dying. It's something that in our life we fear the most.“
Furthermore, for us performers, it is a shared process of attention, endurance and presence.
