Bbeyond is an arts organisation, based in Northern Ireland that focuses on Performance Art. Our membership includes multidisciplined artists from many locations. (G)local Intermissions Symposium
Thank you to everyone who came to our Glocal Intermission symposium and for the kind wishes from those who could not attend but sent their love. 50 years is a long time and those of us that saw 1975 know that so much has changed yet there is so much more to come. Our evaluations are coming in but the intergenerational get together brought 'diffractal connections' and where that might go is anyone's guess.
One thing is sure that performance art is alive and strong in Belfast and the arts eco system has created the environment and audience for this beautiful art form. Which was reinforced with Catalysts Arts Fix Biennale running directly afterwards. Thank you to The Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council for their support and members and audiences who continually support Bbeyond and those of you that travelled to join us or simply walked down the street your all appreciated.
We are constantly looking for ways to supplement our funding and increase opportunities for performance artists and launched our T-shirt line at the symposium. T-Shirts ordered in person on 15 Nov 2025 are now ready for collection - email bbeyond@europe.com for more information.
For our fans further afield we now have our merchandise website up and running and available in 13 currencies. All eco sound carbon neutral and recyclable. Some of the men's styles go up to 5XL and the women's XSmall to 18 with the children's T shirts give a good age range. But by popular demand the future performance artist t shirt is also in adult size.

Bbeyond are proud to present a continuous programme of events that include our Performance Monthlies, solo and group performances, artist talks and other open call opportunities. Our Maiden City BBDB members also run in person and online events weekly.
Recent collaborations have included events with Ulster University, Catalyst Arts, Look North! North Belfast Festival, Imagine Festival of Ideas and Politics and many others.
