Location: Meet at the ground floor of the Cathedral Quarter Managed Workspace, 109 - 113 Royal Avenue, Belfast, BT1 1FF

Note: some workshop activities make take place outdoors, depending on weather.

Led by seasoned performance artists James King and Christoff Gillen, these dynamic workshops invite participants into a playful, intuitive space of movement, presence, and collective expression. Through a series of performance art exercises and improvisational games, we prepare body and spirit for the upcoming Unity Walk—a living tribute to 50 years of performance art in Ireland.

Rooted in Bbeyond’s legacy of site-responsive and socially engaged practice, the workshops offer a chance to explore embodiment, spontaneity, and the subtle choreography of walking together. Whether you're new to live art or a longtime practitioner, join us in crafting gestures of unity, resonance, and transformation—step by step, breath by breath.

Workshop participants will help shape aspects of the 50 year anniversary performance in 15th November ‘Unity walk ‘

Bring a packed lunch and wear flat shoes and loose clothing.
