The hop on glider bus can take you from east to west, north to south, across greater Belfast.

Whether you are visiting Belfast for the first time, or know the city well, there is always something to see or do. Surrounded by green hills and shoreline, Belfast City Centre lies in the flat River Lagan estuary and is split into the Linen and Cathedral Quarters.

Getting to Belfast School of Art

There is limited on-street parking around the Belfast School of Art building.

Symposium events will happen in and around the City Centre. There is a wide selection of accommodation choices to choose from, for different budgets, in the heart of the City, the Cathedral Quarter and outer limits.

Close to the Bbeyond office, St Anne’s Cathedral and Belfast School of Art is the Ramada by Wyndham Belfast. Belfast also has two Premier Inns and an Ibis Hotel.

Travelling to Belfast

By air- Belfast is serviced by two airports, accessible from international and domestic locations.

Belfast City Airport

Just 3 miles (5 kilometres) from the City Centre, the airport has a bus link Airport Express 600, or you can catch a taxi as you leave the terminal.

Getting to Alexandra Park

Entrance to the park is by Castleton Gardens, Mountcollyer Street and Deacon Street. If you are travelling by bus, take Metro no.1 A-H from Belfast city centre, or plan your journey with Translink (link opens in new window).

Getting to Sanctuary Theatre

Leaving Belfast, head east on the Albertbridge Road. The Sanctuary Theatre is on the corner of the first street on the right after the Woodstock Road.
